NEW RECIPE OF THE WEEK

Food is the essence of life, so make it good!

I am sharing over 30 years of my best recipes and techniques.

These are not 45 second videos. My goal is to educate and inspire.

I try to cover what I feel is important I hope you feel the same.

Taste is the immediate and ultimate and gratification, but there is also a much more complex reason, our health.

Do you ever wonder why the French, Swiss and others can eat bread, cheese, meat, pastries, drink beer and wine daily and stay relatively thin and live a long life? Food source, lack of synthetic preservatives, no GMO's, and preparation play a major role. Up until resonantly there was a ban on many processed foods and there are just not that many "fast food multinational corporations" in those countries. There is a direct correlation between obesity, deities and processed fast food consumption. It is true, that you should never trust a skinny chef (a little humor added, but that is my excuse!)

Much of our food source is tainted, so eating fresh is imperative to good living.

There is also something that I call "The living misery index". The living misery index is the balance of eating what taste good and eating healthy, balancing risk and gratification. I love to cook and eat, while not everyone feels this way (I do not understand why, but) if all I could eat the rest of my live was, pick any tasteless matter, there is no need to go on. So indulging is the

a big part of the joy of living. Just as you take certain risk, and it makes life very enjoyable.

We are here to enjoy ourselves and help others, I am a big believer in this! At the center of loving to cook, is the ability to bring joy to others. Gratification to a cook or chef is really not enjoying their own cooking, although that is a part of it, the real reason we prepare culinary wonders, is to share them with those we care about and watch the expression on their face as they take a bite or a drink!

If you have something great to share, please send it along!
I am always up for a new recipe and adventure.
